Games: Dungeon Fighter? is that like D&D?

Dungeon Fighter Online is a MMORPG or a massive muli-player online role playing game in which players pick from one of five classes which get their own skills, weapons and quests. These classes are the fighter the slayer the gunner the mage and priest. this game sticks to a lot of the stereotypes of the video game world. the priest mostly heals, the fighter is the fastest, the gunner is the cheapest, the slayer has the most strength and the mage dies if she sneezes too hard.
DFO plays like an old arcade game like tmnt or ninja gaiden, the 2-d side scrollers now online. It gets a little repetitive i.e. fight this thing, gain exp, get skills, get armor and weapons, fight this bigger thing, so on and so forth. as for the skills they are fun and interesting and you can use them a lot or a little and still be okay for the most part. but to try and keep this cycle from getting old too fast they built the roads system, each time you beat a dungeon on a difficulty with a high enough ending rank you unlock a higher road for that dungeon with monsters that hit harder and have more hp. The roads progress like this normal, expert's, master's and king's. You get more exp the higher road you do.
The different classes each get a sub-class advancement at level 18. The slayer can become a berserker, a sword master, a soul bender or an asura. The fighter can become a nen master, a grappler, a striker or a brawler. The gunner can become a ranger, a launcher, a spitfire or a mechanic. The mage can become a witch, a summoner, a battle mage or an elementalist. The priest can become a crusader, a monk or an exorcist.
when you get these advancements you get new skills and the chance to reassign your past skills.
Oddly for an mmorpg it has a story. It's a little hard to follow later on when the quests get long and hard enough that you're only really doing it exp and not for the story but should you want to follow it and if you have a note pad it does make some sense.
It's a free to play game so you don't need to worry about losing money if you get bored or just don't like it.
I find that the class you pick first will be your favorite or that's how it worked with me and everyone I talk to and you'll have the most fun playing them. I'm on the east of the U.S. so I get lag whenever I party because Nexon has yet to get a server on this side. I did get bored around level 26 because at that point you need a party to do most of your quests and you have no reasonable goal, the next new skill is at level 30 and the behemoth dungeon while the next level was't something I was looking forward to.
So I have to say it was fun until it wasn't 6/10
